Key Identification:
This slug has translucent white body and orange towards head, which is due to orange patches on latero-front side of the head near the base of oral tentacles and rhinophores. Rhinophores are smooth where basal half is transparent orange and distal ends yellowish white. Frontal portion of head is whitish. Edmunds (1970), mentioned white patches distally on oral tentacles and rhinophores, but in specimens from Ratnagiri (Photos attached), these bands were yellowish white rather than pure white; which cover almost half of the total length. Cerata are pointed having irregularly placed white lines. Colour of cerata is pale brown to the apex and dark orange to the base. Irregular white lines run on the lateral and dorsal side of body. Foot is translucent white, slightly notched, centrally grooved, and has tentacular processes. Mouth seems to be semi-rounded grove.

Egg Case:
Egg case is white, spirally laid on the pebble or on hydroids.
